The Radical-7 is a versatile device that can be used in three different configurations:

The upgradeable rainbow technology platform allows parameters to be added as factory-ordered options or through simple field-installed software upgrades. The Radical-7 SET platform is upgradeable and features non-invasive, continuous monitoring of:

Total Hemoglobin (SpHb): Aids in rapid assessment and spot-checking.
Carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO): Helps detect carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.
Methemoglobin (SpMet): Helps identify methemoglobinemia, a dangerous and deadly reaction caused by many drugs routinely administered in clinical settings.
Oxygen Content (SpOC): By calculating hemoglobin and oxygen saturation, SpOC provides a more complete picture of your patients' oxygenation status.
Acoustic Respiration Frequency (RRa).

AlarmsAudible and visual alarms for high and low saturation and pulse rate (SpO2 range 1 - 99%, SpCO range 1 - 98%, SpMet range 1 - 99.5%, SpHb range 1 - 24.5 g/dL, RRa range 4 - 70 breaths per minute, PI range 0.03 - 19%, PVI range 1 - 99%, pulse rate range 30 - 235 BPM).
Change Display ParametersWith a quick touch, drag-and-drop, clinicians can move any parameter to the center or bottom of the screen, without losing sight of any vital signal.
Analyze Patient TrendsInstant trending function allows viewing one or two parameters at a time and, with a simple finger feature, clinicians can expand or collapse parameter trends for real-time analysis. Easily configurable viewing options can be specified to meet your specific clinical needs. The normal view allows continuous monitoring of all parameters along with a plethysmograph waveform and a Signal IQ indicator (below the pleth) to provide confidence in the quality of displayed values.
Versatility in Multiple Areas of CareIts automatic rotational display allows for horizontal or vertical viewing and its three-in-one capability allows it to be used as a stand-alone device, a detachable wireless handheld device or a multi-parameter monitoring interface via SatShare.
Wireless ConnectivityStandard wireless connectivity through integrated 802.11 and Bluetooth technology in the portable Radical-7 keeps patients connected even while on the move, enabling clinician notification, automating documentation and enabling meaningful use of electronic health record systems.
